Follow the flowers & experience the beauty of Fynbos is a great short video produced by Wide Open, who are near Stanford, Western Cape, South Africa.
We have included the video here as most of these flowers are also present around the Bot River Estuary, especially in the hills on the west and east banks of the estuary.
We have another post on local flowers, Gallery of flower pictures, taken by friends of the author.

If you enjoyed this video, Follow the flowers, maybe try the video on the Kogelberg Biosphere Reserve. This is rather long but well worth watching. This was also posted on a Facebook page where it had over 20 000 hits in a week. The Kogelberg is right next door to the Bot River Estuary, and we would like to link the areas with well managed indigenous Fynbos vegetation.
The Kogelberg actually includes the estuary and extends from the far bank of the estuary. Most of the funding for the Kogelberg is only spent on the area to the left background of the image. The estuary itself is a declared RAMSAR site. Cape Nature is still, after years, not completed the second stage of the RAMSAR declaration.
